Meet the Designer

Hi! I'm the owner and head designer here at Through The Cracks Floral Studio, I was born and raised in a small country in Central America nickednamed "El pulgarcito de america" best known as El Salvador. I moved to california back in 2009 to pursue a degree in Animation and VFX, I graduated from The Los Angeles Film School with a BS in animation and VFX that started a journey for me that I wasn't prepared for.

A career that started as a creative one, was now a source of immense stress and no longer felt creatively fulfilled.

For all my family events I was always the one to design and create floral pieces for special events. This made me realize my creativity was just stimulated by something I hadn't noticed before and well the rest was history. I was encouraged to not be afraid and follow that source of happiness that floral designing has brought me.

If I'm not in the studio you will find me at the beach, whenever I need to reset. I find the beach very peaceful and a great source of creativity.

"Through The Cracks" is a concept that comes from "blooming through the cracks of concrete". Next time you are traveling or on the freeway I invite you to look at the walls that surround the road. Do you notice the vines that have taken over the walls? Those Sometimes come from a tiny crack through the wall and has always amazed me. They don't need anyone to take care of them, or trim them, or give them food but they are capable of breaking through a tiny barrier that blooms and becomes strong. That beautiful bloom that are always surrounding us, that is what my brand represents. A simple but powerful meaning of breaking through a barrier. No matter how tall that wall may seem, you will always find that crack that will allow you to bloom. Just like how I found it in floristry.
